Soot Story

Follow the story of a little soot whose flame has gone out

This game was made in 72 hours for Ludum Dare.

How to Play

• Bring coal to your furnace to heat it up
• Upgrade your gear at the furnace
• Help other soots to unlock their unique
• Explore dungeons and bring the heat back home

Controls

• WASD: Move
• Mouse Click: Mine
• Space: Jump
• E: Interact
• Hold Q: Respawn at Home

Tips for Better Enjoyment

• Return home frequently to upgrade the Furnace and purchase abilities
• Don’t buy the Jumping Boots unless you need them for a Dungeon
• Remember you can hold W to climb up ledges once you have the Climbing Gear
• There are 4 unique dungeons scattered across the map

Post Jam

• Fixed gamebreaking crash after completing one of the dungeon

Known Issues

• Incorrect sections of the world may get revealed when locating a dungeon
